Swimming with us
New members to the Ramsbottom Rascals Amateur Swimming Club (RASC), based in North Manchester, are welcomed.
Most of the swimming sessions are based at the Ramsbottom pool and Fitness Centre on Porritt Lane in Ramsbottom. A couple of sessions are based at Heywood pool. See the Training Times.
Children can join from the year they turn 5.
All children must be able to swim 25m to join the club.
Many members join later after they have had lessons elsewhere and they will be invited for an initial assessment to find out which training group will suit their needs.
Over sixteens are welcome too but need to be able to swim well, beginners are not taken at this level.
